Job summary

Michels Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support procurement and supply chain activities on large-scale hyperscale data center and mission-critical projects. You will collaborate with project management, estimating, preconstruction, and field teams to source materials, coordinate supplier relationships, and track procurement records.

This role emphasizes organizational skills, attention to detail, communication, and a customer-focused mindset to align procurement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of procurement, supply chain, construction, operations, project coordination, or related experience.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, purchasing practices, logistics coordination, and supply chain fundamentals.
• Experience obtaining vendor quotations, coordinating supplier communications, and maintaining procurement records.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement activities throughout project planning, execution, commissioning, and closeout.
• Assist with sourcing, supplier solicitation, bid evaluations, and procurement documentation.
• Coordinate material and equipment purchases in accordance with project schedules and budgets.
• Maintain procurement logs, vendor records, purchase orders, and supplier communications.
• Support vendor and subcontractor relationship management activities.
• Help identify procurement risks, supply chain constraints, and delivery challenges.
• Track material releases, purchase orders, fabrication status, shipping updates, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate communications between suppliers, vendors, project teams, and field personnel.
• Maintain procurement documentation, vendor records, contracts, and project files.
• Monitor material lead times and delivery commitments.
• Support procurement reporting, forecasting activities, and project status updates.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Finance, Operations Management, or a related discipline
