Qualifications

• 2+ years in purchasing, procurement, inventory, or supply chain preferred.
• Experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Construction, Manufacturing, or Distribution a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and vendor management abilities.
• Ability to analyze pricing and purchasing trends.

Responsibilities

• Purchase materials, equipment, tools, and supplies for multiple departments.
• Maintain vendor relationships and negotiate pricing when appropriate.
• Create and manage purchase orders.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock before shortages.
• Coordinate deliveries with vendors and warehouse personnel.
• Track orders and resolve shipping delays or discrepancies.
• Compare pricing, quality, and lead times across suppliers.
• Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts.
• Maintain purchasing records and documentation.
• Forecast purchasing needs with department managers.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without sacrificing quality.
• Ensure purchasing complies with company policies and budgets.
• Assist with warranty claims and vendor returns.
• Support special purchasing projects as assigned.
