Job summary

McKenney’s is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to manage buyout for HVAC equipment, subcontractors, and construction materials for fabrication and projects. You will partner with project teams to select vendors and optimize costs, while ensuring compliance with contract requirements and company policies.

As the primary liaison with supplier partners, you will track submittals, issue POs and subcontracts, review pricing data, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of procurement experience in a project-based environment.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel, and email/web apps.

Responsibilities

• Review vendor quotes, lead times, drawings, and specs to support buyouts.
• Advise project teams on vendor selection and cost-saving opportunities.
• Create material tracking logs and issue POs/subcontracts.
• Escalate performance concerns with vendors when needed.
