Job summary

Gulfstream Strategic Placements, LLC is seeking a full-time HVAC Purchasing Specialist in Palo Alto to support our growing HVAC/Plumbing contracting operations. This role handles project documentation, permits, and purchasing orders, ensuring timely delivery.

You will maintain strong relationships with clients, field staff, project managers, vendors, and suppliers, and will forecast inventory needs to optimize flow.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of prior experience.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC/Plumbing materials and systems.
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Must have great relationship with local suppliers and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for project documentation, permit applications, issuing purchasing orders.
• Interaction, coordination, and maintain a strong relationship with: clients, field staff, project managers, vendors, and suppliers.
• Manage and negotiate inventory re-balancing with suppliers, forecast to insure efficient and timely flow of inventory.
