Job summary

Rithum is seeking an experienced procurement leader to own the end-to-end lifecycle, from intake triage to purchase orders, vendor onboarding, and invoice matching. You will streamline processes, build data controls, and drive efficiency across Zip and adjacent systems.

The role includes running sourcing events, evaluating vendors, and leading negotiations, using total cost of ownership and market benchmarking to support decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own the procurement lifecycle end to end, from intake triage and sourcing through purchase orders, vendor onboarding, and invoice matching.
• Improve how procurement runs in Zip and adjacent systems by removing steps that create delay and building controls that keep data clean.
• Run sourcing events from scoping through award, including vendor evaluations, RFx execution, and renewals.
• Build the business case behind award and renewal decisions using total cost of ownership and market benchmarking.
• Lead commercial negotiations on assigned agreements and partner with Legal, Security, and Privacy.
• Use AI as the starting point for recurring procurement work, including contract summarization, first-pass redlines, and spend analysis.
• Share AI approaches with teammates so the whole function gets faster.
• Enable the rest of the business through training, playbooks, and clear guidance on when and how to engage procurement.
• Tailor how you present procurement requirements and cost analysis to different audiences.
