MODE Renovation in Corona, CA is seeking a Purchasing Agent to steward procurement for our high-volume remodel schedule. You will ensure our headquarters is stocked with American-made products, supporting a fast-paced installation timeline across Southern California.

The role emphasizes vendor management, cost control, and data-driven purchasing, with a focus on accuracy and collaboration with Project Managers and the warehouse team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in purchasing or supply chain management, ideally within construction/home remodeling.
• Excel for cost analysis and inventory tracking.
• Experience with Buildertrend or ERP systems is a significant advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build partnerships with vendors and internal teams.
• Detail-oriented with a hawk-eye for discrepancies in specifications, pricing, and quantities.

Responsibilities

• Procure American-made materials for the 8,000 sq ft headquarters.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure lead times.
• Monitor stock levels at Corona headquarters to support rapid installation pace.
• Analyze pricing and negotiate terms to protect project margins.
• Audit purchase orders, deliveries, and vendor invoices for accuracy.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and warehouse team to ensure materials are ready for installation teams.
• Track expenditures using project management software and provide insights for procurement strategy.
