Job summary

House Buyers of America is seeking a Purchasing Manager to oversee bidding, contract management, and vendor recruitment for home renovations. This is a fully remote position ideal for candidates with 5+ years in purchasing from a major home builder.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of purchasing experience with a major home builder and remodeling company.
• Ability to negotiate effectively for cost savings.
• Experience in developing scopes of work.

Responsibilities

• Bid out and manage all contracts and ensure contractors perform per agreement.
• Negotiate the lowest cost possible and creatively source products.
• Partner with management to determine specifications for renovations.
• Train and manage General contractors and subcontractors.
• Recruit new contractors and vendor relationships through networking.
