Job Description:

Provide leadership in the Strategic Sourcing process, primarily focused on North America, with global support as needed. Develop and execute sourcing strategies targeting capital construction-related spends, including MEP, and supporting additional areas as required. Negotiate, draft, and review contracts and statements of work, collaborating with legal resources as needed. Ensure smooth operation of requisitioning and purchase order process with proper documentation. Lead cross-functional sourcing teams in expanding spend areas. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing leaders to develop procurement schedules, analyze spend data for opportunities, and execute negotiation strategies. Lead negotiations with suppliers, often engaging with senior leaders (VPs, Principals, CFOs).

Main Duties:

Time Allocation for Major Duties:

1. 50% Lead cross-functional teams, define requirements and scope, select suppliers, manage bidding, negotiate, and execute contracts. Review statements of work, maximize cost savings and value-added services.
2. 25% Serve as the key sourcing contact for assigned categories. Develop procurement plans, manage the supply base to maximize value, and train non-Sourcing personnel on procurement processes.
3. 25% Review quotes, statements of work, contracts, and facilitate requisition to purchase order processes.
