About The Job:

Job Title: Senior Procurement Specialist 4 - 152783-1

Location: Fully Remote within the US, working PST hours (8am-5pm PST, M-F). Candidates can be based in any US time zone but must work PST hours.

Schedule: M-F, 40 hours/week

Start Date: 6/2/2025

Salary: $39.72/hour

Preferred Experience: Previous experience at Microsoft Corporation as FTE or contractor is strongly preferred.

Requirements: Must be US citizen and upload a current US passport showing expiration date.

Role Summary

Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Operations, the role involves managing procurement operations, supporting hardware procurement, processing purchase orders, and collaborating with various teams to ensure efficiency and accuracy. The candidate should be adept at handling large volumes of work, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and solving complex operational problems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in processing over 25,000 purchase orders annually.
• Reduce cycle times for pricing and procurement requests.
• Partner with Finance to improve approval cycle efficiency.
• Manage supply base interactions for price validation.
• Handle procurement requests via various channels and track their progress.
• Identify necessary procedures for new markets regarding procurement.
• Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with all stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• US Citizenship required.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Operations, Procurement, Business, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent experience.
