About Our Opportunity:

As an IT Procurement Specialist, you’ll act as a centralized resource for IT procurement within corporate technology platforms, overseeing IT documentation and SOP creation. You will review IT invoices and contracts, handle IT procurement, and collaborate closely with the IT Service Desk to ensure prompt and efficient support for Valenz staff.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist with full cycle IT hardware and software procurement.
2. Maintain documentation of purchase orders, review invoices for accuracy, and track procurement activities.
3. Process IT invoices for approval in accounting platforms, including expense reconciliation.
4. Use internal ticketing platforms to monitor and handle IT procurement requests.
5. Maintain inventory stock levels remotely for Valenz’s physical office spaces.
6. Manage software license inventory for Valenz users.
7. Support new user onboarding through hardware/software requests and act as the main IT contact during onboarding.
8. Coordinate with Human Resources on user offboardings, recover IT assets, and manage shipping logistics.
9. Oversee IT contracts, ensuring compliance and managing renewals.
10. Identify opportunities to reduce procurement costs while maintaining quality.
11. Maintain vendor relationships through regular communication and track relevant information.
12. Create and update IT procurement documentation and SOPs, reviewing periodically for compliance.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in IT procurement or related fields supporting remote staff.
• Proficient in the IT procurement lifecycle.
• Experience with carrier platforms like FedEx and UPS.
• Knowledge of Microsoft licensing and purchasing practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with stakeholder management experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, IT, or related fields.

Work Environment:

• Remote position with provided equipment.
• Quiet workspace required.
• Reliable internet connection needed.
• Adherence to security protocols, including VPNs and secure passwords.
• Must be US-based and able to comply with policies such as HIPAA.
