Job Title: Materials Procurement Specialist

Client: PPG

Duration: 6 Months (with option for 6-month extension)

Experience Required: 5+ years

Work Location: Contingent associates do not have to physically work at the locations. The locations are intended to provide close proximity for face-to-face support such as training, procurement, policy compliance, legal, etc., which can be better addressed locally and face-to-face. It is preferable if individuals can visit and see someone who can assist them.

Preferred Location: Pittsburgh

Clients Office Locations:

• General Office: One PPG Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15272

• Cleveland Plant: 3800 W. 143rd Street, Cleveland, OH 44111

• Strongsville Plant: 19699 Progress Drive, Strongsville, OH 44149 (30 minutes from Cleveland Plant)

• Loudon New Plant: No address or building yet, near Knoxville or the town of Loudon, TN

Remote Option: Candidate can also work remotely if suitable.

High-Level Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist in preparing technical bid packages with internal customers
2. Prepare supplier service level commercial specifics
3. Create technical and commercial RFPs
4. Conduct/support supplier and internal pre-bid meetings
5. Answer RFIs
6. Perform bid tabulations (technical and commercial)
7. Negotiate proposals
8. Engage with legal resources
9. Contract formulation (framework agreements)
10. Post-contract supplier follow-up

Nice to Have Skills:

• Engineering background
• Experience in coatings and paint industry
• CPSM/CPM certification
• Experience with large capital projects, processing coatings equipment, and construction
• Experience with liquid and/or powder processing equipment
• Material categories such as dispensing systems, media mills, extruders, chill rolls, bulk tanks, reactors, automation controls
