Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is hiring an Associate, Procurement & Sourcing to lead and deliver sourcing-related projects for Private Equity clients across the US. You will work with PE teams to design and implement creative procurement solutions that enhance portfolio company performance.

The role requires 2–4+ years of consulting or industry experience, with prior advisory work from a top-tier firm or Big-4. Travel up to 80% is expected, and the salary range is competitive for the US market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related fields.
• MBA/Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience managing direct and/or indirect categories.
• 2–4+ years of consulting or industry experience.
• Previous advisory experience from a top-tier strategy firm or Big-4 consultancy REQUIRED.
• Willingness to travel up to 80%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver project work streams for complex client engagements.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with growth and financial objectives.
• Assist in supplier identification, negotiations, and vendor relations.
• Create implementation plans to drive procurement and sourcing changes.
• Conduct analysis as required by project scope.
