Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Senior Associate in Supply Chain: Procurement & Sourcing to help drive strategic sourcing initiatives across U.S. locations. Qualifications

• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are required.
• Exemplary experience designing end-to-end procurement strategies.
• Ability to lead sustainable high-impact strategic sourcing approaches.
• Experience managing direct and/or indirect categories.
• MBA preferred and top-tier advisory background desired.

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of a client’s procurement organization and strategic sourcing capabilities.
• Assist in developing and implementing sourcing strategies to meet growth and financial objectives.
• Participate in developing and managing sourcing and procurement efforts.
• Lead supplier identification, approval, contract/pricing negotiations and vendor relations.
• Develop implementation plans to drive procurement changes.
• Conduct analysis depending on project scope.
