Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking a Senior Associate, Supply Chain: Procurement & Sourcing to lead and deliver procurement projects across private equity portfolios. Open to all U.S.

locations, this role partners with PE teams to design and implement sourcing strategies that drive cost savings and operational improvements. You will develop supplier strategies, negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and contribute to end-to-end procurement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years of consulting or industry experience.
• MBA preferred.
• Preference for roles within sourcing and procurement.
• Direct/indirect category experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 80%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver project work streams with PE teams.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with goals.
• Lead supplier identification, negotiation, and vendor relations.
• Create implementation plans to drive procurement initiatives.
• Conduct analysis required by project scope.
