Boeing Employees Credit Union (BECU) is seeking a Manager, Procurement Operations to build and lead a centralized Buy Desk within Strategic Sourcing. You will design scalable processes, strengthen governance, and improve employee buying experiences across the enterprise.

The role requires strategic thinking, people leadership, and change management to deliver measurable value and drive procurement transformation across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
• Minimum four years of procurement/purchasing operations experience with at least one year of people leadership.
• Experience interpreting vendor agreements and translating requirements into operational controls.
• Experience analyzing procurement data and developing actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Establish, launch, and lead a centralized Buy Desk within Strategic Sourcing, creating a scalable procurement operating model.
• Lead and develop a procurement operations team with clear priorities and performance standards.
• Design and implement standardized procurement processes including requisition, PO management, guided buying, and vendor governance.
• Oversee day-to-day purchasing operations ensuring alignment with vendor agreements, pricing, and funding.
• Develop guided buying practices directing purchases toward cataloged vendors and established contracts.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve purchasing challenges and improve governance.
• Lead procurement transformation initiatives including workflow design, training, and change management.
• Develop procurement performance metrics and analytics to improve visibility and compliance.
• Serve as a trusted advisor for procurement operations balancing needs with enterprise controls.
