Job summary

The Procurement Manager will lead a team of Procurement Specialists, drive operational discipline, data integrity, and scalable execution, while balancing 70% hands-on procurement with 30% leadership and governance. This role ensures we deliver the best experience to clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum two to five years of people management experience.
• Five or more years IT purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in the VAR/Distribution space.
• HS Diploma required; AA or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee procurement support for all of Ahead.
• Validate order accuracy in Salesforce and from vendor quotes.
• Order equipment from vendors using multiple portals and tools; troubleshoot API order issues.
• Ensure timely follow-up on confirmations and move opportunities to Vendor Accepted.
• Support month/quarter/year end close and EOQ/EOY activities.
• Provide input on hiring, onboarding, and training of new procurement staff.
• Identify areas for best-practice improvements in procurement with Sr Manager.
• Maintain detailed documentation of procurement processes.
• Other duties as assigned.
