Job summary

SIMCO, LLC, the operator of WIPP, seeks a Procurement Specialist in Carlsbad, NM. Lead procurement activities, negotiate subcontracts, and work with technical teams on SOWs and cost estimates to support complex waste-management operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with six (6) years of acquisition experience or
• Associate’s degree with ten (10) years of acquisition experience or
• High School Diploma with fourteen (14) years of acquisition experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a broad range of procurement activities.
• Issue Purchase Orders and Subcontracts in FP, T&M, Labour Hour, and Cost Reimbursement environments.
• Coordinate with technical teams on statements of work, cost estimates, and pre-procurement plans.
