This hands-on leadership role oversees a team of buyers, drives day-to-day purchasing and supplier performance across plant operations and major capital projects.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in procurement, 3+ years leading teams, and strong SAP experience; you will partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
• 3+ years of leading purchasing or procurement teams.
• Hands-on SAP experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of buyers supporting operations and projects.
• Oversee day-to-day purchasing execution and supplier performance.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, lead times, and service agreements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through sourcing strategies.
• Oversee purchase order execution and procure-to-pay processes.
• Maintain purchasing discipline and data accuracy within SAP.
• Resolve purchasing, invoice, supplier, and delivery issues.
• Track procurement KPIs and drive process improvements.
• Support procurement for maintenance, engineering, operations, and capital projects.
• Drive improvements to processes, systems, and team performance.
