Job description

We are seeking a Procurement Supervisor for our client, a growing industrial organization operating a large-scale processing facility. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an experienced procurement professional who can lead a team while improving purchasing processes across plant operations and major capital projects.

As Procurement Supervisor, you will oversee a team of buyers and take ownership of day-to-day purchasing execution, supplier performance, procurement workflows, and cost improvement initiatives. You will partner closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Finance, and Project teams to ensure materials and services are sourced effectively and available when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of buyers supporting operational and project procurement


• Manage purchasing priorities, workload allocation, supplier performance, and procurement execution


• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, lead times, and service agreements with key suppliers


• Identify cost-saving opportunities through sourcing strategies and lifecycle cost analysis


• Oversee purchase order execution and the broader procure-to-pay process


• Maintain strong purchasing discipline and data accuracy within SAP


• Resolve purchasing, invoice, supplier, and delivery issues in partnership with internal stakeholders


• Track procurement KPIs and use data to identify opportunities for process improvement


• Support procurement requirements for maintenance, engineering, operations, and capital projects


• Drive improvements to purchasing processes, systems, and overall team performance

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience within a complex industrial environment. Candidates should also have 3+ years of experience leading purchasing or procurement teams and strong hands-on experience with SAP.
