Job summary

Ellaway Blues Consulting is seeking a Construction Manager for on-site leadership on industrial projects in Southeast Houston. The role requires directing all on-site construction operations, coordinating with HSE, Quality, and Procurement, and ensuring schedule adherence and cost control.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in industrial construction, EPC experience preferred, and excellent communication and leadership skills. Travel and time away from home may be required for certain assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of industrial construction experience with 3 years of direct supervision.
• EPC experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction operations, ensuring safety and quality.
• Develop Construction Execution Plan and schedule.
• Monitor cost, schedule, and productivity; address deviations.
• Coordinate with HSE, Quality, Procurement, and Construction Engineering.
• Manage subcontract scopes and bid evaluations.
• Foster client relations and conduct constructability reviews.
