Job summary

Ellaway Blues Consulting seeks an Operations Superintendent for a large-scale industrial processing facility in the Western United States. You will oversee day-to-day operations across multiple processing areas, drive safety, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex manufacturing operations in regulated environments.
• Proven ability to drive productivity, quality, and cost reduction.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience with plant startups or capital projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations across multiple processing and production areas.
• Foster a strong safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development for supervisors and operators.
• Partner with maintenance, engineering, and technical teams to improve reliability.
• Monitor metrics and drive improvements in efficiency, quality, and throughput.
• Support startup, commissioning, and expansion activities for new processes and equipment.
• Develop and maintain operating procedures, standards, and best practices.
• Assist with workforce planning and resource allocation.
