Job summary

Source Recruiting is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee FF&E procurement and installation for interior design projects. You will manage orders, budgets, and schedules, coordinating with designers and project managers to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities include vendor management, documentation, and process improvements, with a focus on budget accuracy and project efficiency across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Interior design, architecture, furniture, or construction industry experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with QuickBooks and WIN Trade (or similar purchasing software) is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage the full purchasing process for FF&E, décor, finishes, and materials.
• Issue and track purchase orders while maintaining budget accuracy.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and the design team on procurement schedules and project deadlines.
• Manage shipping, receiving, storage, delivery, and installation logistics.
• Track backorders, damaged goods, and missing items through resolution.
• Reconcile purchasing with project budgets using QuickBooks.
• Maintain installation schedules and project inventories in WIN Trade.
• Build and manage relationships with vendors, fabricators, installers, and subcontractors.
• Maintain purchasing documentation, vendor records, insurance certificates, and W-9s.
• Continuously improve purchasing processes and operational workflows.
