Job summary

Event Source in Ohio is seeking a Purchasing & Procurement Specialist to coordinate movement of rental products, handle purchase orders, and support sales with availability and pricing. Reports to Strategic Procurement Manager.

The role emphasizes working with vendors, maintaining Sage inventory, and processing transfers, with office-based work plus some warehouse exposure. Full-time, $50,000 annually, and benefits after 60 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word is required.
• Strong math skills (fractions, percentages, ratios).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
• Must pass background check and drug screen (marijuana excluded).

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain inventory line items in Sage.
• Coordinate and confirm physical inventory counts.
• Write and manage purchase orders and sub-rentals.
• Monitor purchasing emails daily.
• Execute warehouse transfers of rental products.
• Collaborate with vendors for pricing and delivery schedules.
• Assist production teams with damaged product management.
• Assist with distribution of items to design centers.
• Participate in project work and counts management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
