Job summary

Event Source is seeking a Purchasing & Procurement Specialist to coordinate rental product movement, purchases, sub-rentals, and transfers. You will support the sales team with product availability and pricing while collaborating with vendors, reporting to the Strategic Procurement Manager.

The role emphasizes office work with some warehouse exposure. A bachelor’s degree and proficiency in Excel/Word are preferred, with strong math and communication skills essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Strong math skills (fractions, percentages, ratios).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain inventory line items in Sage.
• Coordinate, follow up on, and confirm physical inventory counts.
• Write and manage purchase orders (POs) and sub-rentals.
• Monitor purchasing emails daily and respond.
• Execute warehouse transfers of rental products.
• Work with vendors to obtain pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor and manage the Transfer Dashboard.
• Assist production teams with damaged product management and transfers.
• Participate in project work such as Big Sale and TNT counts.
