Job summary

Superior is seeking a Procurement Support Specialist to manage procurement accounts and support project purchasing in Gahanna, Ohio. The role requires coordinating vendor platforms, collecting quotes, and tracking orders to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in purchasing, procurement, vendor coordination, or a related role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Bonus: associate or bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• Bonus: experience with purchasing or procurement in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Administer procurement accounts and systems, including onboarding/offboarding on vendor platforms.
• Coordinate routine purchasing needs and maintain accurate purchasing records.
• Collect vendor quotes and prepare pricing spreadsheets for decisions and project buyouts.
• Track purchase orders, confirmations, deliveries, open items, and vendor follow-ups; escalate exceptions.
• Support project purchasing and bid comparisons with Procurement and Project Operations.
• Expedite deliveries and resolve order, shipping, and pricing issues.
• Provide backup support to Inventory and Logistics.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement workflows and documentation.
