Job summary

Interfor in Arkansas is offering a Procurement Intern position for students pursuing forestry or wood products processing. You will work alongside experienced procurement professionals, gain hands-on experience in wood procurement, log valuation, and contractor relations, and support data collection for mill operations.

The role is on-site, starts in May 2027 for 4–8 months. Interns receive competitive compensation starting at $3,700 per month and a temporary living allowance, with opportunities

learning in school and put it to work? At Interfor, we’re looking for future

experienced procurement professionals, build practical skills, and gain a better
understanding of how wood procurement, log valuation, contractor relationships,
data collection, and process improvement support our mill operations. If you
enjoy working outdoors, solving problems, and learning how logs move from the
forest to the mill, this could be the summer opportunity for you!

This position requires you
to be on-site to perform the job duties and ideally the candidate will start in
May 2027 and be available from 4-8 months.

  physically able and willing to work outdoors in hot or inclement weather
  conditions.
• You have a
  valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
