Job summary

You will work alongside experienced procurement professionals, gain hands-on experience in wood procurement, log valuation, and contractor relations, and support data collection for mill operations.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of workplace safety rules and regulations.
• Enrolled in a recognized university or college program related to forestry or wood products processing.

Responsibilities

• Get hands-on exposure to wood procurement and the role it plays in supporting mill operations.
• Assist with log valuation and stumpage acquisition activities.
• Learn how strong relationships with logging contractors support safe and efficient operations.
• Collect and organize data to support procurement decisions and day-to-day activities.
• Contribute to process improvement projects while learning from experienced procurement professionals.
