Job summary

ABB in Richmond, VA is seeking a Fulfillment Specialist to manage purchasing from internal feeders and external suppliers, aligning with ERP systems and standard operating procedures to ensure timely deliveries.

Responsibilities include releasing requisitions, monitoring order acknowledgments, tracking PO backlog, expediting as needed, and coordinating inbound freight, customs clearance, and local transportation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business administration, engineering, or related technical/STEM field.
• Associate degree with 3+ years related experience.
• HS diploma/GED with 5+ years related experience.
• Demonstrated use of SAP or equivalent ERP; proficient Excel and tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Release purchase requisitions and initiate purchase orders aligned with customer requirements and SAP/ERP SOPs.
• Monitor suppliers’ order acknowledgments and inbound freight, customs clearance, and local transportation.
• Track purchase orders backlog and perform expediting activities to ensure on-time delivery and accurate invoicing.
