Tyson Foods, Inc. in the United States seeks a Senior Manager of Finance – Procurement to partner with procurement leadership and drive financial planning, analysis, and cost performance across the organization.

The role will lead budgeting, supplier economics, and reporting while improving working capital, direct materials guidance, and automation through AI-enabled solutions. Strong collaboration with treasury, accounting, and BU finance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
• Eight or more years of related experience in finance, accounting, procurement finance, supply chain finance, or business finance with progression in responsibility.
• Experience leading process improvement, automation, or technology implementation is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical, modeling, forecasting, budgeting, supplier economics, and working capital optimization skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted finance partner to Procurement leadership, translating spend, pricing, supplier performance, and market trends into financial insights, recommendations, and actions.
• Lead financial modeling and scenario analysis for supplier negotiations, sourcing events, RFPs, and commercial agreements; evaluate pricing mechanisms and terms.
• Establish consistent methodologies to quantify, validate, and track procurement savings and cost-avoidance initiatives; monitor results against commitments.
• Lead supplier payment-term strategy and standardization initiatives in partnership with Procurement, Treasury, and Accounts Payable; quantify cash and cost implications.
• Lead the quarterly direct materials guidance process, communicating risks and opportunities to leadership.
• Own the annual budgeting process for direct materials and indirect spend; coordinate with BU Finance and communicate key risks.
• Lead procurement-related financial reporting and disclosures for SEC reporting; ensure accuracy and documentation.
• Lead financial analysis for Capital Investment Requests and coordinate reviews and approvals.
• Establish and maintain consistent financial processes, controls, and governance across procurement finance activities.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and apply AI-enabled workflows to procurement finance processes.
