Job summary

Tyson Foods seeks a seasoned Trade Finance leader to drive accurate accounting for rebates, contracts, and spend across Foodservice Distribution and Industrial Sales Groups. You will own quarter-end close, oversee LE processes, and ensure strong internal controls.

You will partner with Sales, Revenue Management, and Trade payables to provide insights and control risks, while coaching a high-performing team and implementing improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 7+ years accounting or finance experience preferred.
• Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution and oversight of trade accounting and forecasting activities.
• Ensure accurate accounting for rebates, billbacks, distributor incentives, and contract pricing.
• Own quarter-end close process for Trade Finance activities.
• Supervise Monthly LE process for trade.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and internal controls.
• Provide audit support and maintain documentation standards.
• Partner with Sales, Revenue Management, and Trade payables on planning and analysis.
• Review results and validate variance explanations.
• Drive process improvements and system enhancements.
• Communicate results and risks to leadership.
• Manage escalations and resolve accounting issues.
• Lead and develop team members, including performance management and recruiting.
• Drive continuous improvement across Trade Finance processes.
