Job summary

Tyson Foods in Springdale, AR seeks a Sr. Manager Procurement to develop strategic plans and execute sourcing activities for assigned categories. Lead supplier relationships, perform category reviews, and drive value while aligning with sustainability and business goals.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across Business Units, Supply Chain, and Shared Services to deliver innovative products and cost-effective solutions while adhering to regulatory and AI-use guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years in Procurement or Supply Chain; environmental background is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with sourcing software, contract systems, and AI is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-year category strategies for complex and critical categories.
• Lead supplier negotiations, performance reviews, and risk management.
• Collaborate with Data Analytics to establish baselines and manage total cost of ownership.
• Drive cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and value generation across categories.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and senior management to align with business objectives.
• Oversee AQSCI requirements and supplier contract execution.
