Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking an Analyst Finance to support financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the assigned business area. You will help forecast processes, maintain reliable inputs, and contribute to budgeting and decision-making with accurate financial data.

Collaborating with Operations, HR, and other departments, you will assist with weekly/monthly closes, cost analyses, capital requests, and annual planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1+ years of relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word; experience with SAP, Workday or UKG preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• May supervise clerical or administrative accounting personnel.

Responsibilities

• Support weekly and monthly close activities.
• Report and provide insight to monthly operation results.
• Support production reporting and inventory functions.
• Analyze cost savings and cost reduction activities.
• Provide financial analysis and cost estimates for new product development or cost reductions.
• Prepare and track Capital Investment Requests (CIRs) per Tyson processes.
• Participate in the Annual Operating Plan and assist forecasts.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, HR, and other departments for accurate reporting.
• Support internal and external audit activities and maintain internal controls.
• Assist with LEAN and Safety initiatives and ad hoc analyses.
