Job summary

TAKKION is launching a transformative ERP development and seeks a Senior Manager of Purchasing & Procurement to lead strategic development, design, and execution of purchasing across the organization.

The role builds a procurement framework to drive visibility, accountability, and proactive cost management while partnering with operations, logistics, and finance. Travel to field sites may be required as TAKKION grows its footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance or related field; MBA preferred.
• 7+ years of procurement and purchasing leadership experience in project-based fields including construction and maintenance services.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., D365).
• Strong understanding of project-based purchasing and job costing in industrial or energy sectors preferred.
• Proven leadership in standing up new systems or transformation initiatives.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop a disciplined and efficient supply chain management process for each business unit.
• Design and implement procurement processes to optimize pricing and terms.
• Build and lead a Purchasing & Procurement team.
• Create PO workflows and real-time commitment tracking for cost visibility.
• Manage vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
• Lead the design and deployment of the Purchasing & Procurement module within the ERP.
• Publish weekly PO-based cost forecasts and committed spends to project controllers.
• Drive process improvements that integrate demand planning and supplier performance tracking.
