Job summary

Cool Clean Technologies in Minnesota is seeking a Procurement Engineer to own procurement and inventory end-to-end for engineered CO2 cleaning systems. You’ll bridge engineering and purchasing, translate complex BOMs into actionable purchasing plans, stocking strategies, and vendor orders to keep production flowing.

You’ll read drawings, negotiate with vendors, manage ERP data (SAP Business One) and ensure parts meet specifications while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or technical certification in relevant field.
• 5+ years in manufacturing with procurement or sourcing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret BOMs, drawings, and specifications for purchasing actions.
• Highly organized with accurate inventory data management.
• Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering BOMs for engineered-to-order systems.
• Set and maintain inventory parameters for multiple product lines.
• Manage reordering by issuing purchase orders to support production.
• Own vendor relationships; source, negotiate, and develop backup suppliers.
• Align inventory with demand by coordinating with sales and production.
• Maintain procurement data in SAP Business One and Monday.com.
• Manage lead times and risk for long-lead materials.
• Support cost control through sourcing strategy and optimization.
• Ensure purchased parts meet specs and compliance.
