Job summary

Cool Clean Technologies is seeking a Mechatronics Technician to join our Automation team in Minnesota. You will build, wire, program, test, install, and service integrated CO₂ snow-spray cleaning cells, combining CO₂ delivery, spray nozzles, motion systems, sensors, and PLC/HMI controls.

You’ll be hands-on in our Minnesota shop most of the time, with travel to customer facilities in North America and abroad about 20% of the year.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in mechatronics or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 2+ years building, wiring, or servicing industrial automation equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Build, wire, and test automated cells per electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Program PLCs and configure HMI screens and robot programs.
• Install and commission at customer sites; travel ~20%.
• Document changes and maintain as-built records.
• Support commissioning and training for customers.
