Job summary

Encon is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join a dedicated team onsite with customers. You will manage procurement activities to meet demand, purchase goods, and ensure price, quality, timing, and reliable supply meet organizational standards.

The role emphasizes supplier coordination, order expediting, and cost-saving opportunities while maintaining professional conduct and adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years in procurement preferred.
• Excellent customer service.
• Computer skills and aptitude to learn ERP/inventory software.
• Self-starter able to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with MS Office products.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Procure products to meet current and anticipated demand per procurement strategies.
• Expedite or de-expedite orders to optimize delivery.
• Create requisitions and vendor purchase orders.
• Assess vendors and items for specs, price, and delivery.
• Monitor quality and timeliness; coordinate returns/replacements.
• Follow up on PO status and communicate with customers.
• Resolve supplier payment nonconformances.
• Identify opportunities for customer cost savings.
• Adhere to SOPs; maintain a clean, professional worksite.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
