Job summary

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
• 1+ year procurement experience preferred.
• CPM certification preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Proficiency with MS-Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform procurement activities to meet customer demand and align with purchasing strategies.
• Review and approve inventory forecasts and replenishment recommendations.
• Place purchase requisitions and vendor purchase orders.
• Research and select vendors ensuring quality, price and timely delivery.
• Monitor supplier performance and coordinate returns or replacements as needed.
• Follow up on purchase orders and communicate order status to customers.
• Maintain supplier relationships and document customer cost savings.
• Follow LEAN practices and keep the worksite professional.
