This role sits in the global Procurement Center of Excellence and supports strategic procurement decisions and cost reductions across projects and functions.

You will gather design and cost data, build should-cost models, compare with supplier quotes, and prepare reports to identify savings.

Qualifications

3–7 years of engineering experience with cost data in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data analytics to interpret complex datasets.
Experience with cost modelling, should-cost analysis, and TCO concepts.
Knowledge of cost engineering techniques and VE/CE practices is preferred.
Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) for reporting.

Responsibilities

Gather and analyze cost data to support cost models at component, assembly, or system level.
Build and maintain should-cost models and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Compare should-cost estimates with supplier quotes and market prices.
Provide cost analyses to support procurement negotiations and supplier terms.
Refine cost modelling processes and contribute to VE/DFX activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders on cost insights.
