• 3–7 years of experience in cost engineering or engineering data analysis in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python or R for data extraction and modeling.
• Ability to communicate insights clearly with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze design and cost data to build and maintain cost models and should-cost models at component, assembly, or system levels.
• Maintain CAP records and update cost calculations across product lifecycles.
• Compare should-cost estimates with supplier quotes and market prices and report discrepancies.
• Support procurement negotiations to achieve favorable terms and identify cost reduction opportunities.
