Job summary

Remote seeks a Commercial Operations Associate to support AI data center projects through procurement, contract administration, and financial analysis. You will evaluate vendor proposals, analyze budgets, and resolve commercial issues to support timely project delivery.

You will work with Legal and business partners, coordinate onboarding, and help implement improved processes and controls. This role requires strong communication and team collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, construction management, operations, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in commercial operations, procurement, financial analysis, or contract administration.
• Experience independently evaluating commercial issues and making business recommendations.
• Ability to analyze budgets, evaluate vendor proposals, and review commercial terms.
• Sound judgment in applying policies and resolving nonroutine issues.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project budgets, forecasts, and expenditures; address variances.
• Evaluate vendor proposals based on cost, terms, delivery, and risk.
• Negotiate commercial terms within delegated authority and obtain approvals.
• Review contracts and change orders; address commercial risks and vendor issues.
• Investigate and resolve procurement, invoice, and payment discrepancies.
• Apply commercial policies and financial controls; escalate as needed.
• Improve procurement, contract administration, and financial reporting processes.
• Prepare reports on commercial trends, risks, and actions.
• Maintain accurate commercial records and project data.
• Coordinate agreements, onboarding, and approvals with Legal and partners.
• Collaborate with project teams and vendors to resolve issues and support delivery.
• Support audits and compliance reviews; propose corrective actions.
