Anthropic is seeking a Procurement Operations Business Partner to own the purchasing path from initial request to signed agreement and issued purchase order for its research organizations and special programs.

You will manage a high-volume portfolio, ensure correct coding and accruals, and partner with Accounting to maintain monthly spend integrity. This role focuses on vendor coordination, document reviews, and risk assessments within a dynamic AI research environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the purchasing path for R&D and research programs.
• Code every purchase order with correct GL account, spend category, cost center, and service period.
• Review requests for vendor records, contracting entities, and necessary approvals.
• Coordinate contract review with Legal and ensure alignment with PO before issuance.
• Manage change orders, renewals, and closures; handle multi-line quotes, lead times, and asset handoffs.
