Job summary

Aligned Data Centers, LLC is seeking an Associate Procurement Manager to support strategic planning and management of data center equipment supply chains. You’ll work under the Platform Procurement Manager to source, analyze costs, and execute procurement across assigned equipment categories.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to learn complex technical concepts in a fast-paced environment. Travel may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 1–3 years in procurement, supply chain, engineering, construction, or related fields.
• Strong Excel skills to organize large data sets, build formulas, and present findings.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn technical specs, vendor documentation, and equipment details.
• Ability to travel to support vendor relationships and site activities.

Responsibilities

• Support management of data center equipment categories including sourcing and evaluation.
• Collaborate with vendors to align needs with procurement strategy and budgets.
• Develop relationships with internal teams for procurement planning and execution.
• Assist with RFPs, bid evaluations, and vendor negotiations.
• Process purchase orders, change orders, and related commercial documents.
• Track pricing, lead times, and market conditions to inform decisions.
• Prepare analyses and cost models to support procurement recommendations.
• Maintain procurement data and vendor documentation with accuracy.
• Learn equipment categories through collaboration with engineering teams.
