Wonder Group, INC is seeking a Procurement Associate to join our sourcing and supplier management team in New Jersey. You will collaborate across merchant, forecasting, and accounts payable functions to ensure raw materials arrive on time and meet specifications.

In this hybrid role, you will build strong supplier relationships, manage purchase orders, address material quality concerns, and support launches of new materials while helping minimize waste across production and distribution

• 2+ years in a supply chain position, preferably food experience within foodservice or retail setting.
• Team player that appreciates other points of view & ideas.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills.
• Has a sense of urgency & great attention to detail.
• Able to grasp concepts quickly and apply the learning.
• Self-starter that does not mind seeking answers & information.
• Embraces a fast-paced environment & can pivot as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop & maintain positive relationships with supplier partners via e-mail, virtual meetings & direct calls.
• Sustain proper inventory levels by evaluating/submitting purchase orders & ensuring they are delivered on time.
• Address & rectify any quality concerns of raw materials presented by culinary & operational teams to supplier partners.
• Communicate forecasting changes to supplier partners.
• Work cross-functionally to meet launch dates of new raw materials.
• Evaluate reporting to minimize waste at production & distribution facilities.

About The Opportunity

As a Procurement Associate for Wonder you will work collaboratively & cross functionally with the merchant team, forecasting team, warehouse operations & accounts payable. You will ensure that all raw materials arrive to the Wonder production & distribution facilities in time and in specification.

Our hybrid model requires 3 days a week in the office. That said, many team members choose to come in more often to take advantage of in-person collaboration and connection. You're welcome—and encouraged—to be in the office up to 5 days a week if it works for you. #LI-Hybrid

Location & Salary

New Jersey: $75,000 - 78,500 per year. Wonder uses geographic-specific salary structures, which means the salary offered may vary depending on where the job is located. The final salary offer will take into account various factors, such as the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials, and experience.
