Job summary

Wonder is hiring a Procurement Associate to coordinate with merchant, forecasting, warehouse operations and AP teams. You will ensure raw materials arrive on time and meet specifications for Wonder production and distribution facilities.

You will build supplier relationships, manage inventory to prevent stockouts, address material quality concerns, and support launches of new materials with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a supply chain role, preferably food service or retail setting.
• Strong team player with collaborative mindset.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills.
• High attention to detail and sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive supplier relationships via email, virtual meetings and calls.
• Sustain proper inventory levels by evaluating/submitting purchase orders and ensuring on-time delivery.
• Address and rectify quality concerns of raw materials with culinary and ops teams and suppliers.
• Communicate forecasting changes to supplier partners.
• Work cross-functionally to meet launch dates of new materials.
• Evaluate reporting to minimize waste at production and distribution facilities.

About The Opportunity

As a Procurement Associate for Wonder you will work collaboratively & cross functionally with the merchant team, forecasting team, warehouse operations & accounts payable. You will ensure that all raw materials arrive to the Wonder production & distribution facilities in time and in specification.

The Impact You Will Make

• Develop & maintain positive relationships with supplier partners via e-mail, virtual meetings & direct calls.
• Sustain proper inventory levels by evaluating/submitting purchase orders & ensuring they are delivered on time.
• Address & rectify any quality concerns of raw materials presented by culinary & operational teams to supplier partners.
• Communicate forecasting changes to supplier partners.
• Work cross-functionally to meet launch dates of new raw materials.
• Evaluate reporting to minimize waste at production & distribution facilities.

Our hybrid model requires 3 days a week in the office. That said, many team members choose to come in more often to take advantage of in-person collaboration and connection. You're welcome—and encouraged—to be in the office up to 5 days a week if it works for you. #LI-Hybrid

Location & Salary

New Jersey: $75,000 - 78,500 per year. Wonder uses geographic-specific salary structures, which means the salary offered may vary depending on where the job is located. The final salary offer will take into account various factors, such as the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials, and experience.
