Job summary

FlexStaff Staffing is seeking a Procurement Analyst in New York for an on-site role at the Astoria, Queens office. The position pays $60.00 per hour, with office hours 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

You will analyze procurement data, support strategic sourcing, and provide insights to optimize the procurement process. Reporting to the Procurement Manager or Director, you will work with cross‑functional teams to drive cost savings, supplier performance, and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance or related field.
• 2–4 years of procurement or data analysis experience.
• Proficiency with Excel, SQL and Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret procurement data, including spend analysis and supplier performance.
• Prepare reports on procurement activities and cost savings for senior management.
• Develop dashboards and data visualizations to support decision-making.
• Support sourcing strategies and supplier selection processes.
• Track supplier performance against KPIs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with procurement, finance and other departments to align goals.
• Assist budgeting and forecasting with procurement insights.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders clearly.
