Job summary

1199SEIU Benefit and Pension Funds in New York, NY is seeking a procurement-focused professional to support Source-to-Contract, vendor management, and process improvement initiatives.

You will guide RFQs/RFPs, coordinate contract lifecycles, analyze data, and prepare dashboards for management. A Bachelor’s in business/operations or supply chain and 4+ years in procurement or contract administration are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or a closely related field required.
• Minimum four years of experience in operations, procurement, contract administration, Source-to-Contract, or related analytical role.
• Procurement, sourcing, contract management or related professional certification preferred.
• Experience in procurement workflows in regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to business partners on Source-to-Contract processes including intake, sourcing workflow, contract routing, policy requirements, approvals, documentation and process compliance.
• Coordinate procurement and contract activities through the lifecycle from intake to renewals, amendments, closeout and issue resolution.
• Support RFQs, RFPs and bids by developing timelines, organizing requirements, preparing solicitation materials, evaluating and supporting award recommendations.
• Review justifications, documentation and records for completeness, policy alignment, business rationale, workflow readiness and escalation.
