Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) Mission Technologies in Warren, MI seeks two experienced Procurement Analysts to support the Ground Vehicle Systems Center acquisition office. Responsibilities include meeting with engineers to extract requirements, building milestone schedules, tracking deliverables, and ensuring proper documentation.

Qualifications

• 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
• 3 to 6 years of direct experience preparing and administering Federal/DoD contracts and agreements. Must have practical experience with both FAR contracts and OT agreements.
• Hands-on experience with standard procurement tools (SAM.gov, PIEE, WAWF, EDA, Microsoft Excel/Word).
• A Secret Clearance with the US DOW will be required, therefore you must be a US Citizen in order to qualify for the role.

Responsibilities

• Draft Market Research Reports, Acquisition Plans (APs), Statements of Objectives (SOOs), and Performance Work Statements (PWSs).
• Meet directly with engineers and technical leads to pull out requirements, schedules, and deliverable lists.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and projects.
• Federal acquisition knowledge, market research, price/cost analysis, negotiation, vendor engagement, technical understanding, acquisition planning, and documentation skills.
• Build milestone schedules based on input from technical teams.
• Track vendor deliverable submissions and route them to technical evaluators for review.
• Maintain organized, contract and agreement files in internal shared drives, operate effectively in ambiguous and highly technical environments.
