Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) Mission Technologies in Warren, MI seeks two experienced Procurement Analysts to support the Ground Vehicle Systems Center acquisition office. The role drafts procurement packages, conducts market research, and manages FAR and OTA contracts; on-site work in Warren, MI is required.

Responsibilities include meeting with engineers to extract requirements, building milestone schedules, tracking deliverables, and ensuring proper documentation.

Qualifications

• 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
• 3 to 6 years of direct experience preparing and administering Federal/DoD contracts and agreements. Must have practical experience with both FAR contracts and OT agreements.
• Hands-on experience with standard procurement tools (SAM.gov, PIEE, WAWF, EDA, Microsoft Excel/Word).
• A Secret Clearance with the US DOW will be required, therefore you must be a US Citizen in order to qualify for the role.

• Federal acquisition knowledge, market research, price/cost analysis, negotiation, vendor engagement, technical understanding, acquisition planning, and documentation skills.
• Build milestone schedules based on input from technical teams.
• Track vendor deliverable submissions and route them to technical evaluators for review.
• Maintain organized, contract and agreement files in internal shared drives, operate effectively in ambiguous and highly technical environments.

Position Summary:

HII: Mission Technoolgies is seeking 2 experienced Procurment Analysts to support our work with the Ground Vehicle Systems Center's Aquisition Management Office in Warren Michigan. The Mid-Level Acquisition & Agreements Specialist provides hands-on support to government program managers, technical leads. The individual directly drafts procurement packages, performs market research, builds milestone schedules, tracks deliverables, and assists in the administration of both FAR-based contracts and Other Transaction Authority (OTA) agreements.

This role requires on-site work in Warren, MI and cannot be performed remotely.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
• 3 to 6 years of direct experience preparing and administering Federal/DoD contracts and agreements. Must have practical experience with both FAR contracts and OT agreements.
• Prior direct Federal / DoD government contracting or agreement specialist experience (civilian, military, or contractor support). Preferred.
• Relevant coursework in FAR fundamentals and DoD Other Transactions
• Hands-on experience with standard procurement tools (SAM.gov, PIEE, WAWF, EDA, Microsoft Excel/Word).
• A Secret Clearance with the US DOW will be required, therefore you must be a US Citizen in order to qualify for the role.
