Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. in Newport News, VA, seeks a Project Management Analyst 2 to support planning and execution of supplier development projects within Supply Chain Procurement and Outsourcing for all programs.

You will collaborate with buyers, engineers, quality, and program personnel to improve material availability and cost; production/capacity planning and data analysis are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of relevant exempt experience; Master’s Degree and 1 year of relevant professional experience.
• Equivalent qualifications include: NNS Apprentice School graduate; Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate; Associate's Degree with 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of non-exempt; Military Paygrade E-5+; High School/GED with 4 years of related exempt experience; High School/GED with 8 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of supplier development projects at NNS across programs.
• Collaborate with buyers, engineers, quality, and program personnel to improve material availability and cost.
• Apply production/capacity planning, data extraction, and analysis to drive improvements.
