Job summary

Flexport is seeking a Senior Manager, Procurement & Procure-to-Pay to lead how the company buys and pays for corporate indirect and warehouse goods and services. You will run daily procure-to-pay operations, build processes to negotiate better terms, manage renewals, and control costs.

You will lead a team of five to ten people, partnering with Finance, Legal, and business leaders. Expect vendor negotiations, problem solving, and AI-driven workflow improvements while maintaining strong controls.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of leading procurement/finance teams.
• Strong ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze spending data and turn insights into recommendations.
• Experience building and optimizing procure-to-pay processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the team to set priorities and ensure accuracy and service.
• Create clear purchasing and approval processes for indirect and warehouse spend.
• Negotiate with vendors using spend data and alternatives to improve pricing and terms.
• Maintain contracts, renewal dates, and risk management with Legal and business owners.
• Own approvals, invoice processing, and payments in collaboration with Accounting and Treasury.
• Build AI-assisted workflows for spend analysis and invoice exceptions and test them.
